Mary Gillick was a prominent British sculptor, widely known for her design of the 'Young Elizabeth (Gillick Portrait)' of Queen Elizabeth II.

She studied at the Royal College of Art, where she worked mainly on medals and relief sculpture. 1952.She was selected for the Queen Elizabeth II coin design competition and her design was used on British coins from 1953 to 1967.
